EAU-DE-VIE DE PETIT-LAIT

Famille Migneron de Charlevoix is an award winning artisan cheese factory located in Baie Saint Paul, Quebec. Their cheeses are amongst the most popular in Canada. In 2020, they opened their own craft distillery in order to recuperate the whey generated by their cheese production.

The Eau-de-vie de petit-lait offers an agricultural approach with a finesse worthy of the greatest spirits. Our Eau-de-vie contains NO LACTOSE. Lactose is actually the sugar that was used for fermentation. This spirit is distilled three times, and then reduced with water that’s coming from the family’s mountain. The eau-de-vie is a small amount of the ‘’heart’’ of distillation. 

This creamy spirit reveals notes of exotic fruits, a milky tone reminiscent of dulce de leche and a finish of blueberry and herbaceous honey.
